Joshua Bardy, a resident of Kenosha, has claimed a $2 million prize from the Wisconsin Lottery. The winning ticket was purchased at a Kwik Trip located on 5800 31st St. in Kenosha and was claimed at the Wisconsin Lottery Madison office this week.
The scratch ticket, known as $2,000,000 Cash, is part of a $50 instant game that launched on May 2, 2025. Bardy is the first person to win the top prize in this game.
This isn't the first significant win for the Kenosha Kwik Trip location. Previously, it sold another $2 million scratch ticket in September 2024 and a $1 million Lotto ticket back in 2018. Store Manager Brian M. expressed his excitement about selling another high-value ticket: "I can't believe we sold another million-dollar winning ticket. This is so awesome."
The $2,000,000 Cash game offers over $17 million in total prizes and still has one remaining top prize of $2 million available. The game includes ten different prize levels ranging from $75 to $2 million.
Wisconsin retailers who sell winning tickets worth more than $599 receive an incentive through the Retailer Performance Program. For selling Bardy's winning ticket, Kwik Trip will receive a $20,000 incentive.
