The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) in Wisconsin has expressed approval following the passage of Assembly Bill 279. The bill, which aims to address workforce shortages through talent recruitment grants, was approved today.

Luke Bacher, the NFIB State Director, issued a statement highlighting the significance of this development for small businesses in Wisconsin. "On behalf of thousands of small businesses in the state of Wisconsin, the NFIB applauds the passage of Workforce Recruitment Grants," he stated. Bacher emphasized that many small businesses are currently dealing with workforce shortages and that AB 279 could be instrumental in mitigating this issue by encouraging households from other states to relocate to Wisconsin.

The bill's approval is seen as a step toward helping businesses facing labor shortages by attracting new talent to the state.
