Aspirus Stevens Point Hospital recently hosted a Pregnancy Expo that brought together 19 expectant families and more than 21 providers and community partners. The event, held on October 1, aimed to offer information and support for families preparing for childbirth. Attendees included doulas as well as children who participated in a Sibling Class designed for soon-to-be older siblings.

The Pregnancy Expo is one of several initiatives by Aspirus Stevens Point Hospital to assist families during pregnancy and early parenthood. The hospital also provides classes covering topics such as breastfeeding, life with a new baby, support for new mothers, and childbirth preparation.

Kara Mrozek, BSN, RN, Supervisor of the Women and Infant Center at Aspirus Stevens Point Hospital said: “Whether it’s through our expo, childbirth education, breastfeeding support, or new moms’ group, our goal is to make every family feel confident and cared for throughout their journey.”

Aspirus thanked attendees, staff members, and community partners who contributed to the event. Information about future pregnancy expos and other family-oriented classes can be found at aspirus.org/classes-events.
