Aspirus Woodruff Clinic – Maple Street has announced the addition of Catherine Ziegler, a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), to its family medicine team. Ziegler brings 15 years of experience as an FNP and has a particular focus on pediatrics, women’s health, and behavioral health.
Ziegler holds a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire and a bachelor’s degree from Viterbo College in La Crosse. She is certified by both the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
“I enjoy working with children and adolescents, as well as patients with chronic disease processes,” Ziegler said. “Caring for patients through every stage of life gives me the opportunity to make a real difference in their health and well-being.”
Family Nurse Practitioners are advanced practice providers who can diagnose and treat illnesses, manage chronic conditions, prescribe medications, and offer preventive care such as wellness visits and screenings. They often develop long-term relationships with patients and families.
Aspirus Woodruff Clinic offers primary care services for all ages, including same-day appointments. The clinic also provides on-site specialty care and connects patients to more than 250 specialists across over 40 specialties within the Aspirus Network.
The clinic is located inside Howard Young Medical Center at 240 Maple Street in Woodruff, Wisconsin. Appointments with Catherine Ziegler can be scheduled by calling 715.356.8140 or visiting aspirus.org.
