Rep. Gwen Moore, a longstanding member of the U.S. Congress representing Wisconsin's 4th district since 2005, has been vocal on social media regarding current political issues. In her tweets, she highlights concerns about federal funding and health care policy changes proposed by Republicans.

On February 19, 2025, Rep. Moore expressed concern over potential cuts to BadgerCare, stating that "at least 1 million Wisconsinites -- including 1 in 3 children in rural areas -- get their health care through BadgerCare." She criticized Republican efforts to reduce federal funding to finance tax cuts for the wealthy. "But Republicans in Congress want to gut federal funding to pay for tax cuts for the millionaire donor class."

Later that day, Rep. Moore referenced historical grievances against British rule with a quote from the Declaration of Independence: “The history of the present King of Great Britain is a history of repeated injuries and usurpations..." She then suggested a satirical slogan regarding America's current political climate: "His slogan should be MACA = Make America Colonies Again."

On February 20, 2025, Rep. Moore addressed discrepancies between statements made by former President Trump and actions by House Republicans concerning Medicaid. She highlighted conflicting positions: “Trump Says Medicaid Won’t Be ‘Touched.’ House Republicans Want It Cut by Hundreds of Billions.” Moore accused Republicans of attempting to reduce healthcare access for vulnerable groups while benefiting billionaires.
